About The Accidental Poet

I wasn’t a children’s poet... until I was. One day, several years ago, Silly Kids Poems just started falling out of my head. It was as much a surprise to me as it probably is to you. Each Silly Kids Poem takes 5-10 minutes to write and I can’t wait to get to the end to see how they turn out. And most of them make me laugh out loud as I hope you do too.

I am an artist by nature and am illustrating the Silly Kids Poems as I have time. But it takes WAY more time to do the paintings than to write the poems.

I will keep writing until the poems stop coming. I hope you enjoy them.
