Dinosaurs lived a long time ago
When the world was very much younger.
They liked to play, they liked to run
But what they thought about most was hunger.

Some Dinos ate plants, some Dinos ate meat
But as people they did not ignore us.
The most favorite of all, the most bestest there is
Is MAVERICK the Cookie-a-Saurus!

This Challenge came from a lovely young woman who wanted me to write a poem for her great-grandson.

His name is Maverick and he likes dinosaurs.

But, then again, who doesn't?
