A BUG'S VIEW

If I were a bug
Is what I’m thinking, hmm, let’s see
So if I were a bug
Just what bug would I be?

Not a nasty bug
So not a Cockroach or a Flea
But something people like
A Glowbug or a Bee

Grasshoppers can jump
Though they are insects and not bugs
I’m really not that picky
Long as no one says, "Ugh"

Cicada and Ant
I’m not sure how my life would be
Butterfly, Dragonfly
Though now I think I see

If I were a bug
Each blade of grass would be a tree
But if I were a bug
You just might step on me

I was watching bugs the other day and thinking how their perspective would be fun... and then I thought how very big we are compared to them. And how dangerous it must be.
