A NAME IS JUST A NAME

Black Widow Spiders are scary
Or so I’ve been told
I don’t think I’ve ever seen one
I think I could be bold

As spiders, they just might be nice
Maybe it’s the name
The Widow and the Black I think
Are scary, all the same

I’m thinking what could better be
Yellow, blue or white
A bug by any other name
And they should not bite

To be or maybe not to be
A name I could hug
Instead of spider scary, black
My Cuddly Blue Bug

For me I’m thinking… maybe no
Maybe not the name
Perhaps it’s just one of those things
They’re scary all the same
