BOTHER BUGS

I wonder why bugs
Bother to bother me
I’m a million times their size
It’s obvious, can’t they see

I could squish them flat
Like a grape or a pea
But they just don’t seem to care
I think they should let me be

Stay out of my ears
And don’t buzz ‘round my eyes
I don’t want to make them dead
Leave me alone! C’mon guys

So again I ask
Why do bugs bother me
“Obvious,” my sister says
Just ‘cause it’s fun, don’t you see
