CHEETAHS, SNAILS, AND PENGUINS

I think that I’m always right
My teachers think sometimes I’m wrong
My friends all agree with me
We think SHE’S wrong all along

Cheetahs think everyone’s slow
Elephants think everyone’s small
And Snails think everyone’s fast
While Ants think everyone’s tall

My Fish knows her world is wet
A Penguin knows the world is cold
Cacti know the world is dry
Kangaroos are hot, so I’m told

There is one thing that I know
That I seldom agree with you
But that’s because you and me
We have different points of view

Of course I still think I’m right
And, of course, I still think you’re wrong
But that’s just my perspective
Same notes, but a different song

LISTEN TO ME READ

I was outside being swarmed by bugs and I found myself thinking about how huge I am compared to the bugs and, no surprise, this poured out of my brain.
