CREEPY CRAWLY

I am NOT fond of Spiders
I think they’re kind of creepy
And though I am not proud to say
They sometimes make me weepy

I would say it was the eyes
Too many, it’s just not right
But it could be too many legs
Or, perhaps, because they bite

I like Bees and Butterflies
So it’s not because they’re bugs
Just saying, “SPIDER,” makes me cringe
Oooooo, so spiders not so much

Dew upon their silky threads
Morning sunshine feels like grace
I think their webs are magical
But NOT when they’re on my face!

LISTEN TO ME READ

If you've read more than a few of my Silly Kids Poems you probably know that I'm not fond of Spiders. And again the other day, on my way out of my house, I got hit right in the face with a spider web. So here's another Spider poem.
