GATORS and GOPHERS

There’s Eagles and Badgers
And Horses and Cows
And don’t forget Zebras
And Piglets and Sows

There’s Llamas, Alpacas
And Pandas and Crocs
There’s Giraffes with long legs
And knees that, well, knocks

There’s Gators and Lions
And Gophers and Moles
There’s Hippos that wallow
And things that dig holes

You’d think with these critters
It would not be tough
To come up with a rhyme
I’m finding it rough

I would write a poem
I can’t find that rhyme
Sometimes it’s just too hard
