GRUMPY LITTLE BUNNY
There once was a Bunny
So cute, soft and brown
Not hoppy and happy
Instead there’s a frown
Right there on his face
The whole world can see
Indeed he’s not happy
Like Bunnies should be
He’s sad ‘cause his friends
Have moms and dads who
Gots cool sounding jobs
That’s why he’s so blue
Mouse Catcher, Guard Dog
A Rooster who crows
Not just looking cute
And wiggling your nose
The King of the Jungle
The tallest Giraffe
A silly Hyena
Makes everyone laugh
Perk up Grumpy Bunny
Turn your frown to a smile
I don’t think you know
We’ve known for a while
Your dad is the coolest
The best, don’t you see
‘Cause everyone knows
He’s the Easter Bunny
A friend of mine took some cute pictures of little baby bunnies and one of them always had a grumpy look on his face. And I knew I just had to write him into a poem. The problem was figuring out why a baby bunny would be grumpy.
