I’m happy to be
The thing that I am
There’s always good and there’s bad
I am me, thank you, ma’am

If I were a Pooch
I’d run in a pack
But that sounds like a Hot Dog
Like an afternoon snack

If I were a boy
Or a girl, could be
I could see a slight problem
That I think you will see

Unfortunately
You might hear kid’s howls
Because they’re not as smart as
A Parliament of Owls

Good thing I’m a Koi
Schools of fish are cool
But Summer’s over for Kids
Time to go back to school
