I HAVE TO DRAW A... SPIDER
I’m not so fond of… spiders
They scare me, well, a lot
They scare me when they’re really real
They scare me when they’re not
I don’t like them in pictures
I don’t like them in books
I don’t like spiders, not at all
I don’t like how they looks
Spider webs are very cool
And, yes, they do eat bugs
But still, the spiders by themselves
I’d rather kiss a slug
Don’t want to see a spider
Their legs just creep me out
The way that they sneak up on me
It’s scary, there’s no doubt
HOWEVER
This IS a spider poem
I’ll have to draw one… eeeww
But maybe I shall close my eyes
And see what I can do
LISTEN TO ME READ
A friend asked me to write a poem about spiders. But I don't like spiders. At all. But I did it anyway.
