LITTLE LOST PENGUIN

I bought a snowcone at the zoo
The flavor was Penguin-Pink
I know how silly it sounds
But this is what I think

A Penguin showed up at my house
He had, of course, followed me
I’m sure my Mom will love him
It’ll be fine, you’ll see

He slept inside our freezer, brrrr
On a bed of ice, so cold
I left the door open ‘cause
That’s just what I’d been told

My Mother made me take him back
‘Cause the ice for sure did leak
Not so sure this is my fault
Well, second time this week

Of course I took the Penguin back
Mom said he just could not stay
When I went to leave the zoo
I was still hungry, HEY!

There’s this treat called Crocodile-Crunch
But, it just might run amuck
Do I want to take that chance
Best not to push my luck
