MEOW

Woke up this morning
My Cat on my chest
Her face in my face
She thought it was best

That I get up NOW!
To feed her some food
Whiskers do tickle
I thought it was rude

I do not speak Cat
I heard her ‘MEOW’
I think that that means
Get out of bed NOW!

She’s waiting for me
Keeps saying, “MEOW!”
I’m starting to think
It means FEED ME, “MEOW!”

She won’t leave me be
Again, “Meow, Meow, MEOW!”
I hear you, I’m up
“Meow, meow, meow, MEOW!”
