MY CAT HAS A PET

My Cat has a pet
Though it’s hard to believe
It really makes sense
I think you’ll agree

Pets make you happy
They will do what is best
They’re there to please you
It is their life’s quest

It can’t be a mouse
It just won’t be a dog
Not likely a fish
It might be a frog

I come when she meows
I fulfill every wish
I feed her her food
Only tuna-fish

I fetch my cat’s toys
Every time she says, “Meow”
I ask what she wants
And sometimes I bow

It hit me, KAPOW
That’s when I came to see
My Cat has a pet
And that pet is me.
