STILTS

It seems to me like grown ups are, well
They are different, so much
They are ancient, older for sure
Much bigger, much taller and such

There is a way I can be bigger
I have a pair of stilts
I will be just like grown-ups are
One stilt wobbles, one of them tilts

There must be more to being grown-up
When all is said and done
I fell down lots, these stilts are cursed
And I’ve got a big bruise on…

Well, let’s just say…
“It ain’t been no fun.”
