SUNSHINE and SHADOWS

I love sunshine
So warm and bright
But that’s not why
It’s more for the light

What I like best
I’m sure you’ll see
Someone my size
Would no doubt agree

I am an 🐜 ant
And so so small
Yet shadows long
Make me look so tall

I was making breakfast and saw a pretty big thing walking across our kitchen counter. When I looked I was surprised that I was seeing a large shadow of a very small bug. So I had to write this.
