WATCH CAT

I’m going to get my cat a watch
We need to set some rules
She’s been, I’ll say, a pest of late
Sly as a fox, she tricks, she fools

She wakes ME up, but not my Mom
Dad snores too much to hear
But if SHE’s up, I should be up
It will always be so, I fear

She wants to play or go outside
To chase moths in the yard
Important to a Cat, I’m sure
But two AM is rather hard

She’s starving and she needs to eat
Her most insistent whine
I’m going to get my cat a watch
-SIGH-
If only my Cat could tell time

LISTEN TO ME READ

I was thinking about how early my cat wakes me up for breakfast. And then I thought about how nice it would be if she could tell time. And then I thought about watch dogs... and flipped it
